  Yup. Quite a big contrast between the world the Chinese profess they live in and strive for, versus the one that exists. At the end of the day, I don't think a, 'free Tibet,' in the literal sense is possible. There's simply too much money China has dumped into claiming that territory for them to pull out. However, that doesn't mean they can't grant the region some autonomy, or allow the Tibetans religious and social freedoms. If we were still systemically erasing the history, culture, philosophy, and architecture of the Native Americans today, what do you think the response would be?
